Anushik Alaverdyan was born on March 2, 1988. She attended musical school- fortepiano department in parallel with school. Leaving school she entered Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, with the specialization of Jazz-Vocal singer.
In 2006 she took part in “Yntsa” nationwide contest, where she received the main prize. Her first video clip, “A day”, was shot in 2006. The song ‘In an hour’ was awarded “The best song” prize in ‘Voske Qnar’ project in 2008. The second clip ‘Maybe I love you’ was shot in 2009 and again was awarded ‘The best song’ prize in the frames of ‘Voske Qnar’ the same year. In 2010 she took part in the international contest “Морской узел՛՛ in Novorossiysk city taking the 2nd place. She was also awarded the prize ‘For the sincerity and inspiration on the stage’. Her first club solo concert took place in 2011, where she was performing famous songs in soul style.
In 2011 she performed duet with singer Emma Petrosyan and in 2012 they presented their ‘Childhood island’ clip.
Now she also performs with a live band. She has been working with ‘Karen Mamikonyan band’. The band appears in the style of blues and soul. They organize concerts both in and out of Yerevan.
In 2013 she was awarded ‘The best blues performance’ for the song ‘I love you more than you’ll ever know’ from Radio Van.
