Deem PR Summit

Welcome to the first PR Summit in Armenia that will be held on 11-13 April, 2014 @ AUA.

This is an exciting endeavor that brings together PR and communications professionals to network and discuss in-depth, challenging and motivating ideas in the industry both in Armenia and globally.

The PR Summit in Armenia features keynote speakers from the U.S., UK and Germany. Learn more about the international Speakers.

The aim of the PR Summit is to foster professional development of PR industry in Armenia based on international best practices, trends and priorities.

This is a professional networking platform where local and international communications professionals continuously interact and establish working relations for advancing their skills, knowledge in communication management of their brands, businesses and establishing rapport with new key publics. This is where you join the conversations. The summit sessions incorporate general and specific areas of PR discipline to accommodate the communication interests of PR and communications professionals, local and international businesses, the media, non-profit organizations as well as students studying communications disciplines.

April 13 PR Talks workshop @ Hyatt Place Yerevan. Seating is limited to 40 participants. Preregistration is requested. By invitation. (No attendance fee.)

Dr. Dustin W. Supa

We are pleased to introduce Dr. Dustin W. Supa – a keynote speaker of PR Talks and PR Summit in Armenia.

Dr. Supa is an experienced PR expert from the U.S. knowledgeable about the industry’s development trends internationally. He currently teaches and conducts research at Boston University. His research and practice focuses on the media relations process in public relations, the use of visual persuasive devices and the application of modern critical social theory to public relations.

Dr. Supa earned the Ph.D. in communication with an emphasis in public relations at the University of Miami. He was a sequence coordinator for the public relations program at Ball State University. He initiated and hosted PR related events such as Schrantz lecture series at Ball State University and Indiana Public Relations Leadership Summit.

During April 11-13 Dr. Supa will present and conduct workshops around the following topics

Katya Koryakovtseva

Katya Koryakovtseva has been collaborating with media consulta for over 5 years. She has been managing integrated pan-European communication campaigns for European Commission directorate-generals including DG AGRI, DG MOVE, DG ENTR and EU Delegation to Ukraine. She has successfully incorporated management of cultural diversity into her work, adapting campaign structures to local climates. Her experience focuses on natural resource companies, governmental bodies and industry associations to develop strategies attracting international investment to remote regions of Kazakhstan, South East Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

Katya holds a BA in European Studies and a MSc in Global Management.

Mr. Suresh Raj

Please welcome Mr. Suresh Raj – a PR Summit keynote speaker from the UK. Suresh is the Business Development Director of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. A global top 10 agency, Ogilvy PR is one of the largest PR networks in the world with 85 offices across the world specialising in brand & consumer marketing, corporate PR, social marketing, public affairs, social & content communications amongst other key PR practice areas.

Suresh began his career in PR 17 years ago, upon completing his MBA in International Management. He pursued an active career in marketing by focusing on Public Relations and the impact this discipline has within the wider marketing mix. For the first five years, as a PR practitioner himself, Suresh specialised in delivering ground breaking media relations campaigns for consumer, corporate and financial services brands like Audi, Disney, Virgin Money and Zurich Financial Services.
